Déjà vu all over again

This is like deja vu all over again. – Yogi Berra

A Republican on Capitol Hill points out that we’re going through a health care press coverage time warp. In each of the following four headline pairs, one is from this morning. The other is from last year. See if you can guess which is which.

  1. CNN Headline this morning:

"Obama: Time for talk on health care is over"

I know I read that same headline last December.

  2. CNN: "Obama: Time for talk on health care is over". If only that were true. Oh happy day!

  3. Well… I got more than half – although at 7/13, only just. (In fairness, one of the headlines I missed was there twice…)

In any case, any ability of mine to recognize this year's vs. last year's headlines is negligible enough as to be immeasurable. The meme has not changed.

  4. The only think we have to fear, is Democrats–including those that walk like RINOs…

  5. It's the ECONOMY, stupid!!!

  6. This would make a great Facebook app.
